I know for some, this sounds *out there* to work with a hypnotherapist. I can whole heartedly say that working with the wonderful Sam for 2 years has been brilliant.
To thank you for your hugely valued support of me, I wanted to share some of what I’ve enjoyed and learnt with you. We have *two free tools* below that are perfect to utilise this time of year. That said, you don’t need a diagnose of your mental health to do this. We all have mental health and positive visualisation can be helpful for everyone - at any time.

The Benefits of Reflection at the end of a year
As the year draws to a close, it is the perfect moment to reflect on your journey and set powerful intentions for the year ahead. Taking time for reflection is essential for personal growth. It allows you to celebrate your achievements, learn from your challenges, and gain valuable insights. By understanding where you have been, you can make informed decisions about where you want to go. This process helps you identify patterns that no longer serve you and set meaningful goals aligned with your true desires. Reflection empowers you to enter 2025 with a renewed sense of Clarity, Purpose, Confidence and Excitement.
Reflective Tools: Guided Visualisation & Journalling
I have created two powerful tools to help you reflect on the past year & set intentions for the one to come: an end-of-year guided visualisation and a journaling exercise. These tools are designed to work together or separately, depending on your preference & time you have. Both will benefit you, but it is important to fully engage with each exercise & not rush the process.
How to Prepare:
Find a quiet, safe, and comfortable space where you will not be disturbed. Slip into your soft clothes, and settle into a cozy chair or bed, ensuring you are warm & comfortable. Turn off your phone, dim the lights, or light a candle. Create a calming atmosphere with soft music or your favourite essential oils. This is your time to relax, reflect, & connect with your inner self. It is a special moment for you to pause & go within, so make it welcoming. Simply listen to the visualisation & let yourself relax & be present.
Tool 1: Your End of Year Visualisation
It is my belief (along with many others) that to create something in your reality– it first must be created within your subconscious mind! I specialise in crafting bespoke visualisations that help access the subconscious, enabling you to create the life you desire. For you cannot attract lasting prosperity into your life - if your inner belief system (housed within your subconscious) is rooted in lack or fear. This is where guided visualisation can be a powerful tool.
Before you begin: * Please do not listen to this recording while driving or doing anything that requires your full attention *
Simply listen to the visualisation & let yourself relax & be present. Remember, your subconscious mind is always listening & storing what you tell it as truth. So, share with it not what you do not want, but what you do! Thoughts may pass through your mind, which is perfectly normal - we have around 60,000 thoughts a day! Just do not fcous on them.
Gently bring your attention back to my voice. Allow the story to unfold - it has been lovingly created to help you gain insight from your past year, release all that does not serve you, and take the lessons with you into 2025. You will also have the opportunity to create how you want 2025 to unfold. For the best results, listen to this visualisation daily for 30 days.
Consistency is the key to transformation. But even if you cannot commit to daily practice, know that each session will still bring powerful changes, both in your mind and your life. Embrace the journey and let the transformation begin!
Tool 2: Your End of Year Journal Prompts
After your visualisation, or whenever you have time, take out your paper & pen. Reflect on how your past year has unfolded. Use the prompts below to guide your reflections & set intentions for the new year to come. The key is to take your time & do this exercise when you are relaxed and always with kindness and without judgment.
Reflection.
• What were your goals at the beginning of this year? Did you achieve them? If not, why?
• What challenges did you face – and how did you navigate them?
• How have you shown up in your life this year – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually?
• What top 3 lessons can you bring into your new year?
Gratitude.
• What are you most grateful for from the past year?
• What accomplishments are you most proud of?
• Who and what supported you, and how did it impact your life?
Releasing and Letting Go.
• What negative or limiting thoughts, habits, or experiences are you ready to release?
• Are there any relationships or connections that are not good for you, and you are ready to release?
• How can you forgive yourself or others for any past mistakes?
Setting Intentions for the New Year.
• What are your top 3 goals for the new year?
• What steps can you take to achieve these goals?
• What is your Mantra for this year (which will guide your thoughts, feelings, and actions)?
After the Exercise
Once you have completed the journaling exercise, take a moment to reflect on what you have written. Allow yourself to absorb the insights and intentions you have set. Carry these reflections - along with your 2025 Mantra - with you as you move forward, using them as a guide to create the year you desire. I hope this exercise brought you clarity and insight. Remember, the journey to self-discovery and growth is ongoing, and that every step you take is valuable.
